Our Purpose
Across the Western United States, rising housing costs, limited supply, aging properties, and redevelopment pressures are making affordable homes increasingly difficult to access.
Sunrise Housing Group addresses these challenges by acquiring, preserving, rehabilitating, developing, and operating affordable housing communities. Our goal is to protect existing housing, create new opportunities where feasible, prevent displacement, and support stronger, more stable neighborhoods.
Serving Households Most Affected by Housing Costs
We serve very low-, low-, and moderate-income individuals and families, including seniors and households most affected by rising housing costs.
Our housing programs may serve households earning up to 120% of Area Median Income, with eligibility varying by community, property, funding source, and applicable housing requirements.
